• I learnt that 8000 Anzacs died fighting in the war .
• And that for wepones were  303 calibers and enfield rifel and blade with granade. 
• And fouht for the fredom of the world. 
• And that the war started in 1914 and ended 1918.
• also that Anzac means Austrailia NewZewland army corp.

I have been researching about ANZAC DAY and I disscovered that....

1.the war started in 1914-1918
2.ANZAC stands for Australia,New Zealand,army,corp.
3.about 8,000 died in the war
4.new zealand battled tukey gillipoli
5.the troops used guns,bayonets and rifles.

I have been researching ANZAC day, these are things I have discovered:

• ANZAC day is a day of rememberance and it is on Sunday 25th April
• Poppies are red flowers that are used to commemorate the ANZACs
• ANZAC means Australian and New Zealand Army Corp

I appreciate the sacrifice that our New Zealand soldiers made on my behalf.
